Overview

The next workshop will take place on Tuesday 31st March - booking details can be found below.

A practical workshop for leaders, managers and teams navigating an uncertain future

In 2026, organisations across the UK are facing sustained change: economic uncertainty, evolving ways of working, increasing workloads, digital transformation, with rising expectations and pressure at every level.

FACT: With 59% of UK employees feeling under excessive pressure at work and work-related stress, anxiety and depression accounting for 17.1 million working days lost annually, resilience is no longer a “nice to have” - it’s a core capability for individuals, teams and companies who want to perform, adapt and thrive.

Building Resilience in Times of Change is an engaging, evidence-based masterclass designed
to help people to better understand how they respond to pressure, and how develop the skills and emotional intelligence needed to remain focused, effective and well, even when change feels relentless.

This workshop is open to directors, managers and team leaders and will help them to create a shared language and approach to resilience across your organisation.

Why resilience matters now

The pace and intensity of change is unlikely to slow in 2026. Leaders are expected to deliver results while supporting team wellbeing, managing uncertainty and leading through complexity. Employees are being asked to do more with less, adapt quickly and remain engaged under pressure.

Resilience enables people to:

  • Respond constructively rather than react emotionally
  • Maintain performance under pressure
  • Recover more quickly from setbacks
  • Lead and collaborate more effectively during times of change

This workshop focuses not on “pushing through” or simply coping, but on building sustainable, science-backed resilience that supports both performance and personal wellbeing.

“Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” ― Nelson Mandela

What you will learn

By the end of the workshop, you will:

  • Gain a clear understanding of what resilience really is, and how it differs from coping, grit and hardiness
  • Understand why building resilience is important, particularly in the current and future workplace landscape
  • Explore the tangible benefits of resilience, for individuals, leaders and organisations
  • Learn key neuro-scientific models that explain how the brain and nervous system respond to stress, and how resilience can be strengthened
  • Develop awareness of the core pillars of personal resilience, and tangible take aways to practice at work and at home to bring calm and control to your life

A practical, human and evidence-based approach

This workshop blends neuroscience, psychology and real-world workplace experience. Participants will leave with greater self-awareness, practical tools they can apply immediately, and a deeper understanding of how to support both their own resilience and that of others.

Building Resilience in Times of Change supports organisations who want their people not just to cope with the future but to meet it with clarity, confidence and competence to lead teams effectively under pressure.

The session will really help me to adapt to the changing landscape and tackle adversity head on.” Amy Davies, Director of Sales Optionis Group
